I have been a designer/developer since the millenium and always try my best to be as precise as possible when it comes to anything I do. I always aim for perfection in my work and from day one, have been an avid self taught designer. I dont look at myself as simply a website designer, but more as a professional procrastinator.
I am particularly interested in usability of the products I come into contact with and have been known to come up with vast documents on how hardware and software, of which we use every day, could be improved in such subtle ways, that of course make all the difference. And I do this, just for fun.
I also have experience in the third sector. As a Michael Jackson fan of many years, I started my own MJ inspired charity (www.mjffc.org.uk) in 2011 in my spare time. We process multiple donations from many other MJ fans, and donate 100% of this money to charities in memory. It has been a massive experience gainer and I am always on the look out for how I can do my bit and learn some important new skills in the process.
Some of my current skills include:
Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, After Effects). HTML, PHP, CSS, JS, accessibility, usability, best practice. Photography.
THIRD SECTOR WORK:
Accounts and donation processing, charity registration, Gift Aid processing, fundraising platform & social network maintenance, brand and marketing management.
Please click around the site for more details and give me a shout if you think your project might be of interest to me, I am always on the look out for something new and being able to contribute some unique ideas to the pot.
